What will I be when I grow up? Where will I live? Will things turn out okay? It’s easy to overthink the future. Proverbs 20 gives us a better way.

God Directs Your Steps

Proverbs 20:24 A person’s steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand their own way?

We don’t have to understand everything about our future. God is leading us one step at a time, even when we can’t see the whole path.

One Day at a Time

Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Jesus said not to worry about tomorrow. That’s the secret to stopping our overthinking: trust God with the future and focus on following him today.
