If you're not careful, your ego could end up edging God out.

Talking Points:

  • Early success at work or in life can lead to a serious ego problem. It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you are great rather than God is great and has blessed you with these opportunities. Watch your EGO( Edging God Out)Proverbs 16:18
  • The higher you go, the more “disaster potential” your ego has. Don’t be fooled by the money and titles and stay humble. Luke 14:11
  • As the corporate pyramid gets thinner at the top, interpersonal qualities become even more important. People don’t want to follow a jerk!
  • The only remedy is to keep Christ first. Remember his goodness and his faithfulness in your life. Colossians 3:1-4
