Q&A FOR COUPLES
We offer a myriad of topics and series that speak to the issues that couples care about that can be used in a small group setting or in a one-on-one mentoring relationship. This is what makes our resources so unique. You don’t have to be dependent upon a purchased curriculum. All of our resources are totally free and easily accessible online. Our hope is that women would use these resources to go and help someone else in their life, whether it’s a co-worker, neighbor or friend.
How would I use this in my women’s ministry?
PG works similarly to your more traditional Bible studies out there… but the difference is our resources are totally free! Our resources are designed to create more time for conversation in your group setting, so we limit our videos to be no more than 12 minutes. Every topic or series includes the following: a video, summary article, related topics and questions designed to help you lead a discussion. We offer several series, ranging from 4-7 weeks long, that you can offer at your church each quarter.
How do I use these resources for one-on-one mentoring?
Disciple-making is simple with PG resources. Pick a topic, send it out, and meet to have a conversation. This is what we call the FLEX method and it’s the method we encourage women to use in a mentoring (or discipling) relationship. Instead of stressing about what to talk about or keeping your conversation focused, the PG topic does the work for you. Each video provides biblical truth and the included questions map out the conversation. You can choose a series, complete a track, or spark conversations one topic at a time.
Using FLEXTALK.org
Some people won’t be interested in using the Bible-based resources of pursueGOD.org. That’s understandable. But you can still add value to their lives by sharing topics from FLEXTALK.org, a conversation library based on common sense values (instead of explicit biblical teaching). The method is the same: one topic at a time, make an investment in another person’s life. Eventually, when the time is right, you may have an opportunity to share on some topics from pursueGOD.org. Use FLEXTALK at work, at school, or in your community.
