If you can learn to hit your knees on a regular basis, it'll grow you in both the good times and the bad.

Talking Points:

  • Pray for your own team and staff. Coaching is all about relationships, so pray over those relationships.
  • Pray for your opponents. Even your “enemies” matter to God, and Jesus commanded us to pray for them. Matthew 5:43-48
  • Pray for your family, especially if you’re married with kids. Your spouse is going through a battle too.
  • Pray for yourself. Ask God to keep you alert and attuned to his Spirit, on and off the field. Colossians 4:2
