In the ups and downs of every season, coaches have to remember that they're not in control. But the waiting season can be good if we train ourselves to learn from it.

Talking Points:

  • Coaches are always on the move, and yet there’s still a lot of waiting involved. That’s because success isn’t completely up to you.
  • Sometimes God wants to do something IN you more than he wants to do something FOR you. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10
  • When God makes you wait, you have to learn to pray like Jesus: “Your will be done, not mine.” Luke 22:42
