If you feel stunned because this isn’t how you expected life to go, then you know a little bit about how the followers of Jesus felt the morning of the resurrection.

Talking Points:

  • What surprises us doesn’t surprise God. He uses all things for his good plan. John 20:6-7
  • God cares deeply for you when you’re hurting. Jesus showed compassion to people when they were fearful and sad. John 20:15-16
  • God offers new life to anyone who wants it. The resurrection is meant to bring you to trust in Jesus. John 20:8, 18, 31
