The Grace Narrative requires each of us to recognize that we are sinners, and not better than anyone - so we can never judge.

Talking Points:

  • There are two main ways of thinking about self-image: a moral performance narrative (achievement-based) and a grace narrative (grace-based). Romans 5:8-11
  • The grace narrative takes away the sense of superiority many of us hold which causes us to think of ourselves as better than others and to caricature those who disagree with us. Philippians 2:3
  • When the grace narrative reigns and we are true to a Christian way of living, we will be changed and the world with us.
