Temptation comes to women of all ages, and it's been that way since the days of Eve.

Talking Points:

  • Because of Jesus, we no longer have to fear God’s wrath. He paid the price for all our sins with his own life. Our response to him is devotion – a heart that wants to honor God. Hebrews 6:18-20
  • Jesus rescued us from the chains of sin. The story is no longer: I can’t help but sin. Our story now is that we can choose not to sin, because Jesus came to die to set us free from the grip of sin. Galatians 5:1
  • The Holy Spirit is in us, and he moves us to follow God’s decrees. The Spirit is that inner voice, that tug in our hearts, which pull towards God instead of away from him. Romans 8:26, Ezekiel 36:26-27
  • The promise is that God doesn’t allow us to be swallowed up by the temptations of this sinful world. 1 Corinthians 10:13
