Don't be passive-aggressive!

Talking Points:

  • “Just saying” allows a person to say whatever they want, even if it’s mean.
  • “I’m just curious” but they really aren’t they are just fishing for information.
  • “No offense but” means I’m mean but I don’t want you to get mad at me.
  • “I don’t know if you’ve noticed but” implies you’re an idiot if you didn’t catch on.
  • “I sure wish someone would” is an indirect way of asking for a favor.
  • “It’s okay, I’ll take care of it” means I’m mad but I won’t say it.
  • “Don’t you love it when” is the statement that really means what they DON’T love.
  • “Some people” is an indirect form of confrontation.
  • “Thanks in advance”is another way to get you to do a favor without asking.
  • “Am I the only one who” is a form of complaining.
