Who Are the Nephilim?

Genesis 6:4 mentions the Nephilim. They are described as “heroes of old, men of renown.” The identity of the Nephilim has intrigued Christians for centuries. The only other mention of the Nephilim is found in Numbers 13:33, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim).
